Elemental contaminants play a critical role in refinery operations, catalyst lifetime, product quality, safety, and compliance with international standards. Accurate determination of trace and ultra-trace levels of metals and non-metal elements such as sulfur, chlorine, and nitrogen is therefore essential throughout the entire production process.
This web seminar introduces state-of-the-art instrumentation for optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), and combustion elemental analysis, and demonstrates how these techniques support feedstock evaluation, process control, specification compliance, and final product certification. Based on real-world application examples, attendees will gain insights into the capabilities and advantages of these analytical technologies.
Wichtige Lernziele:
- Learn about analytical solutions for determining metals and non-metals in challenging organic matrices
- Identify the most suitable techniques for feedstock characterization, process monitoring, and product quality control
- Discover strategies to improve laboratory efficiency, analytical accuracy, and data quality
- Gain practical insights from real-world applications in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries
Wer sollte teilnehmen?
Refinery and petrochemical laboratory managers and analysts
Analytical chemists and laboratory managers in contract analysis laboratories
Anyone involved in elemental and combustion elemental analysis, product quality, within the oil and gas sector, and production of sustainable fuels
