First forum on elementary analysis brings 20 top customers to Jena

Analytik Jena presents analysis and automation trends for 2009

EA-Innovationsforum September 2009On September 3 Analytik Jena invited to its first information forum on elementary analysis. On this occasion the specialist for analytical technology brought together customers from the fields of petrochemistry, the chemical industry and water and environmental analysis for the first time in Jena. During lectures and practical demonstrations product and application specialists presented the current analysis and automation trends for 2009: the elementary analyzers multi EA® 5000 and multi EA® 4000 and the AOX/TOX analyzer multi X® 2500.

The focus of the information event were automation solutions from Analytik Jena, for example the autosampler for solids of the multi EA® 4000 for the automated TOC/TIC analysis, a novelty amongst elementary analyzers. In the multi X® 2500 the double furnace was of particular interest, which allows for a horizontal and vertical operation without the need for conversion tools. EA-Innovationsforum September 2009

In the multi X® series and the multi EA® 5000 the participants were shown the Multi Matrix autosampler for the fully automated analysis of solid and liquid samples. "This really saves time", said Torsten Olschewski, head of sales and marketing of the sector "analytical solutions" at Analytik Jena.

Another highlight was the demonstration of the multi-element analysis. "The multi EA® 5000 is currently the only device of its kind enabling customers to analyze four elements simultaneously from a single sample", Olschewski added.

The final discussion centered on methods, applications, software solutions and hardware materials. "The forum on elementary analysis is going to become a permanent and regular platform for our customers", Olschewski announced.
