Spyglass | Get even closer to the action

Whether you wish to discover the smallest of details or a distant panorama - here you will find the solution. Analytik Jena with its DOCTER® brand has decades of experience in optics technology, which at the Jena and Eisfeld sites can be traced back to the achievements of Zeiss, Abbe and Schott. These are incorporated into each individual product, thus meeting your most stringent quality requirements.

Wherever you need to see small details from a great distance, the ASPECTEM is indispensable. Especially observation of animals in the wild is a special experience with this terrestrial telescope.
The ASPECTEM lets you view wildlife close up.

  • Sturdy and splash-proof
  • Climate-resistant
  • Versatile
  • Unique optical performance through ED-objectives

The new high-quality optical system guarantees faithful rendering of the original colors. The use of special ED lenses significantly reduces color dispersion. ED stands for “Extra-low Dispersion Glass”, which is used to manufacture special lenses that are indispensable for sharply defined correction of longitudinal chromatic aberration. Combined with the DOCTER® multitop broadband coating, this ensures maximum optical performance in terms of color rendering and image quality.

High-magnification lenses make it necessary to use a tripod. The ASPECTEM is equipped with a standard tripod connection for use of all commercially available tripods. Therefore, the ASPECTEM can be fitted with the right support for every use.

With its medium magnification, its large field of vision and its suitability for spectacle wearers, the standard eyepiece is an all-purpose eyepiece.

The standard eyepiece is the economic alternative within the ASPECTEM range of eyepieces.

DOCTER offers as "standard" what others describe as "wide angle"!

Enjoy the possibility of gradually changing the magnification of your ASPECTEM.

This offers you a choice between a large field of vision or a particularly large magnification, thus enabling you to optimally combine a panoramic view with detail magnification.

Thanks to its special patented design, this eyepiece is one of the few variable eyepieces where the subjective field of vision is to a large extent independent of the set magnification.

The DOCTER® Vario eyepiece does not present you with a keyhole view. The low magnification offers you the necessary overview to locate details and to get your bearings, while the large magnification provides a good resolution for interesting details.

By changing the focal distance of the eyepiece and thus also the magnification and the size of the exit pupil, it is possible to optimally adjust the binoculars to varying observation conditions during the day or night and also to visibility conditions.

In most cases, no subsequent zooming-in is necessary when the magnification is changed.

We are the only manufacturer to offer variable eyepieces in observation binoculars.

This ultra wide angle eyepiece is a newly developed state-of-the-art eyepiece, superseding the reliable and highly commended 90° eyepiece.

With its aid it is possible to overview an enormous field of vision, at the same time enjoying a large magnification. Apart from the unparalleled panoramic impression, it is characterised by an exceedingly good ease of view and suitability for spectacle wearers.

The image is crisp and clear up to the margin. This is achieved with the unique optical design, integrating modern lens engineering features in the eyepiece.

In addition, the UWA eyepiece is available in a special design as slide-on eyepiece for astronomical applications.

The appeal of the ultra wide angle anastigmatic eyepiece lies in its stigmatic (stigma=dot) imaging across the entire field of vision. Even stars at the image margin are still point-shaped and visible as an incomparably clear image.

This characteristic and highest transmission values are ensured by the use of special lenses produced by leading lens manufacturers.

Compared to the precursor model, it was possible to reduce the distortion without having to cut back on the actual field of vision. Thus, the field of vision is still clear during relaxed viewing and invites to longer observation sessions.

This is additionally supported by the large eye relief, which by folding back the eyecup even facilitates observations wearing spectacles.

In addition, the rubber eyecup cushions the transmission of disturbing vibrations to the system.
